About The Project

The Deanship of Scientific Research organized “Empowering Women in Scientific Research” Forum, and an accompanying exhibition, under the auspices of His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah Bafail. The event hosted the participation of researchers from various academic disciplines in different Saudi universities, in Al-Jawharah Hall (female section), Al-Zahir campus. The goal of the forum was to clarify the reality of women in the research field, diagnosing the difficulties they face in order to reach workable solutions and discussing the Saudi Vision 2030 programs and the extent to which women researchers benefit from them. Moreover, it aims to introduce the fields of internal and external support of women’s research.
